      Creating Inventory Records<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Step 1: Access Inventory Management<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      1. Navigate to Inventory<\/strong> tab<\/li>
      2. Click New Inventory Record<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Step 2: Basic Inventory Setup<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Create record for common part:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Product Selection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Product<\/strong>: 3 Ton Capacitor<\/li>
        • Product Code<\/strong>: CAP-3T-370<\/li>
        • Description<\/strong>: Auto-populated from product<\/li>
        • Category<\/strong>: HVAC Components<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Location Assignment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • Inventory Location<\/strong>: Central Warehouse Chicago<\/li>
          • Zone<\/strong>: A-15<\/li>
          • Bin<\/strong>: A-15-03<\/li>
          • Status<\/strong>: Active<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            Step 3: Quantity Configuration<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

            Set initial quantities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Stock Levels<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            • Quantity On Hand<\/strong>: 0 (will add via inventory log)<\/li>
            • Minimum Quantity<\/strong>: 10<\/li>

              Step 5: Add Initial Inventory<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

              Use Inventory Log to add stock:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              1. From Inventory record, click New Inventory Log<\/strong><\/li>
              2. Enter details:
                • Type<\/strong>: Replenished<\/li>
                • Quantity<\/strong>: 25 <\/li>
                • Reference<\/strong>: PO-2024-1234<\/li>
                • Notes<\/strong>: Initial stock<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                  This updates Quantity On Hand automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  Step 6: Create Trunk Stock Records<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                  For mobile inventory:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  Trunk Stock Setup<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  • Location<\/strong>: Van-1234-Trunk<\/li>
                  • Quantity On Hand<\/strong>: 0<\/li>
                  • Min Quantity<\/strong>: 2<\/li>
                  • Max Quantity<\/strong>: 5<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                    Replenishment Rules<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    • Replenish From<\/strong>: North Region Depot<\/li>
                    • Replenish When<\/strong>: Below minimum<\/li>
