Understanding Product Requests<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Product requests initiate the inventory replenishment process, triggered either from jobs needing parts or proactive stock management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Method 1: Request from Job<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Access Job Record<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Navigate to the job needing parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open active job record<\/li>
  2. Review job requirements<\/li>
  3. Identify needed parts<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    \n\n\n\n

    Step 2: Click Request Parts<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Initiate parts request:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Click Request Parts<\/strong> button<\/li>
    2. Parts request screen opens<\/li>
    3. Shows job details and location<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Request Header Shows<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Job Number: JOB-2024-1234<\/li>
      • Customer: ABC Manufacturing<\/li>
      • Service Location: 1234 Industrial Way<\/li>
      • Assigned Technician: John Smith<\/li>
      • Needed By: Job scheduled date<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Step 3: Choose Parts and Quantity<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Select required items:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • Indicates nearest available<\/li>
          • Suggests alternatives<\/li>

            2. Add notes if needed:
              • “Urgent – needed for tomorrow AM”<\/li>
              • “Customer waiting”<\/li>
              • “Exact model required”<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
              • Click Confirm<\/strong><\/li>
              • Request number generated: PR-2024-0567<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                • Created and pending approval<\/li>
                • Notifications sent to warehouse<\/li>

                  2. Tap My Inventory<\/strong> menu<\/li>

                    Step 2: Search Items<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                    Find needed parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    Search Methods<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    • Type product name<\/li>
                    • Scan barcode<\/li>
                    • Browse categories<\/li>
                    • Recent items list<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                      1. Type “capacitor” in search<\/li>
                      2. Results show all capacitors<\/li>
                      3. Select “Capacitor 45MFD”<\/li>
