Understanding Parts Receipt<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Receiving completes the transfer cycle, updating inventory at the destination location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Access Freight Record<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When parts arrive:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to Freight Records<\/strong> tab<\/li>
  2. Find shipment by:
    • Tracking number<\/li>
    • Expected date<\/li>
    • Destination<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
    • Open freight record<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Step 2: Verify Shipment<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Check received items:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Verification Process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Expected Items:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u2611 Capacitor 45MFD (3) – Received: 3 \u2713<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u2611 Air Filter 20x25x1 (4) – Received: 4 \u2713<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u2611 Thermostat Pro (1) – Received: 1 \u2713<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Condition: All items in good condition<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Discrepancies: None<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      If Discrepancies<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Note missing items<\/li>
      • Document damage<\/li>
      • Photo evidence<\/li>
      • Contact warehouse<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Step 3: Mark as Delivered<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Complete receipt process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. After verification<\/li>
        2. Click Mark as Delivered<\/strong><\/li>
        3. Confirm quantities<\/li>
        4. Add receipt notes if needed<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          • Status changes to “Delivered”<\/li>
          • Inventory updated at destination<\/li>
          • Request marked complete<\/li>
