Products are the individual items or equipment that you use in your job or sell to customers.<\/p>\n

  1. Click \u2018New<\/strong>\u2019 button on \u2018Product<\/strong>\u2019 Object.<\/li>\n
  2. Please enter Product Name, Code, Cost, Description, Active, and Product Family.<\/li>\n
  3. Click \u2018Save<\/strong>\u2019 button, so you can store product without standard price. You can set standard price later by click \u2018Add<\/strong>\u2019 button on the below (See Figure – 1).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    ProductCode<\/td>\nString<\/td>\nDefault product code for this record. Your org defines the product code naming pattern.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Cost<\/td>\nCurrency<\/td>\nCost of the product<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    IsActive<\/td>\nBoolean<\/td>\nIndicates whether this record is active (true) or not (false). Inactive Product2 records are hidden in many areas in the user interface. You can change the\u00a0IsActive\u00a0flag on a Product2 object whenever\u00a0necessary. Label is\u00a0Active<\/strong>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Family<\/td>\nPicklist<\/td>\nName of the product family associated with this record. Product families are configured as picklists in the user interface. To obtain a list of valid values, call describeSObjects()\u00a0and process the DescribeSObjectResult for the values associated with the\u00a0Family\u00a0field.
